Yard Force Scarifier used twice before it broke down

I purchased a Yard Force Scarifier from Mitre 10 Reynella. I scarified my domestic lawn in October for the last two years. This year the Scarifier will not operate.
The Scarifier has only been used twice.
The Warranty is for one year only.
Very disappointed in this product and would not buy another Yard Force Scarifier.
