Yard Force 40V 4.0Ah Battery
SKU:AL G40A
The 40V 4.0Ah Battery is a compact yet powerful battery for Yard Force's cordless trimmers and handheld blowers. This battery uses advanced Lithium-Ion technology to provide up to 120 minutes of runtime (depending on the equipment being used) from a single charge, at a rate that exceeds the same power found in corded solutions. There is no memory loss, and this lightweight battery comes with 40V 4.0Ah power. It also has a built-in LED indicator that delivers feedback on the battery charge status. At the same time, a compact design allows for easy storage or transport so that you can take your power anywhere.

It's a bit heavy, other than that it last over 110mins of heavy use.
Contrary to the negative views, I have had a good run with these 40V batteries, except one which for some reason refused to power the mower properly, failing after just down one green, but even then still powered all the other attachments. Still puzzled by that.
I got approximately 18 charges out of our battery before it died. It has that electric 'fried' smell now. I'm glad it didn't burn the house down at least. I'm not wasting another cent on Yardforce equipment. This brand is GARBAGE.
We have two of these batteries. One battery is just over two years old and the other is about one year old. The older one no longer charges at all. The younger battery is only charging up to two lights not four. This seems to me to be a very unsatisfactory lifespan for a battery that is only used domestically, on average, every fortnight. But what is worse all inquiries to YardForce remain unanswered or acknowledged. We will be sticking to Bosch from here on in ... their batteries have lasted 5+ years so far.
Battery died after minimal use
