Needed something urgently just before Christmas and spotted this, out on special, at my local hardware store. The 2.5mm line caught my eye. I had a curved shaft petrol one previously and wasn't sure if this would do the job. However, assembled it and charged it and went over to my son's place and started attacking the thick grass growing along the edge of the path and fence line. I was surprised at how capable it was. not quite as strong as the petrol one but it worked well. 20 minutes later I was almost finished and it was still going. No more 2 stroke fuel to mix or earplugs. It cut out at my place after a few more minutes cutting, so I reckon a bit under half an hour before it needed a recharge. I'd recommend it.
